The Dalecarlia House

The Dalecarlia house is a Swedish traditional timber panel house in genuine Dalecarlia style with a hurdle pole fence homestead including a timber guest cottage and a firewood hot tub outside. The house in very cosily decorated with dalacarlia wooden horses (the Swedish symbol), gourd paintings (local specialty) and Jobs printing on the wall (local Dalecarlia artist). The house has a large living room open in two stories and a separated kitchen area. It is a bit larger than the lodge house with more bedrooms and beds but offers no dishwasher or laundry machine. The sauna in comfortable placed inside the bathroom and a few steps from the terrass you may enjoy an outside hot tub spa under the in the open air all year around. The areas own cross country skiing trail and berry woods is just around the corner and within only a few minutes walking distance you find the mountain lake and tennis courts.

The Dalecarlia house has a large living room with fireplace and two bedrooms in the ground floor, one larger bedroom with a queen size bed and a smaller bedroom with a "two storey bed" and a small sofa which can be redesigend to a baby cot with bars. There is also a small sleeping loft with a bed and a chair bed. To access the sofa loft a ladder needs to be climbed but it can also be hanged againt the wall to avoid small children climbing in it. The the bath room you find a shower cabin and a indoor sauna. I the hallway you have a drying cabinet. I the living room there is a TV with many channels. At the loft there is a older TV and VCR with children movies. The separated kitchen has regular kitchen decorations and a microwave oven (but no dish washer). The number of beds are 5 + 3 (sofa bed in the living room and chair bed at the loft) of which one of the regular beds are at the loft.

 

A lovely firewood hot tub spa is placed close to the terrass which can be renter for SEK 500 per week.

 

There is a barbeque patio with covered seating in the homestead and also a regular barbeque at the terrass for outdoor dining. In the meanwhile the children can spend time at the trampoline in summer time.

In the homestead there is also a very cosy timber guest house with a sofa bed for 1-2 persons may stay which can be rented for SEK 500 per week if needed.
